​BPSSC Announces 2025 Recruitment – BPSSC issued recruitment details for Range Officer of Forest in the Environment Forest and Climate Change Department through its 2025 notification. The recruitment process for 24 open positions runs from May 1 to June 1 in 2025. Candidates who want to apply as Range Officers of Forest need to hold a bachelor’s degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Biotechnology, Zoology, Agriculture, or Forestry and Engineering or equivalent fields.

The Forest Department of Bihar hires candidates between 20 and 37 years old for male applicants and 40 years old for female applicants as set on January 1st 2025. The selection begins with a written exam followed by an interview together with a physical efficiency test.
