OHPC Announces 2025 Recruitment – According to a press release from the Odisha Hydro Power Corporation (OHPC), 69 Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) vacancies will be offered for recruitment in 2025 in various engineering branches. Posts are open in Electrical (60), Civil (2), Mechanical (4) and Instrumentation & Control (3) engineering branches. The candidate should have a full-time Bachelor’s degree in the engineering subject from a recognized university or institution. According to the age criteria, as of May 1, 2025, candidates should be within the age group of 21 and 32 years and some relaxations apply to reserved categories.

Those interested are required to fill out an application which will be open offline from June 6, 2025, to July 5, 2025. Applicants should send their applications and required documents to the Chief General Manager (HR), who is based at the OHPC headquarters in Bhubaneswar. An application fee of ₹750 is taken from UR and SEBC candidates, but SC/ST/PWD candidates are not required to pay it. Shortlisted candidates will have their GATE 2025 scores reviewed and then the interview stage will follow.

The stipend for the selected trainees is ₹50,000 a month during their time undergoing training. After they finish their training, they will start getting paid in the regular scale, from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month.
