BPSC Announces Recruitment – BPSC has officially put out the notice for hiring Assistant Section Officers (ASO) in 2025 as per Advertisement No. 37/2025. It is designed to fill 41 positions open in different categories. From May 29, 2025, onwards, you will be able to apply online until June 23, 2025. People interested in the exam can go to the official BPSC website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in, to apply.
You must be at least 21 and no more than 37 years old and have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university by August 1, 2025. For reserved categories, women from BC/EBC, UR and SC/ST can apply with age relaxations of 40, 42 and 42 years respectively.
To complete the process, applicants are tested in three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview. The test will take place on July 13 of 2025 . A Director or Assistant Director, ASO, is hired on a salary from Pay Level 7 and this can fall between ₹44,900 and ₹1,42,400 per month.
