MDU Rohtak Announces Faculty Recruitment – Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak has called for applications for 158 faculty positions for the upcoming 2025 academic year. Positions available range from Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors, varying between budgeted posts and SFS roles. From May 15, 2025, through June 5, 2025, applications can be submitted on the Internet. A hard copy of the application, together with necessary materials, should be sent by June 12, 2025. The rules for applying state that candidates need to have a Master’s degree with at least 55% in the main subject, together with NET, SLET or SET for Assistant Professor posts. A Ph.D. and previous teaching or research experience are usually needed for positions at the higher level .
Both Professors and Associate Professors earn a monthly salary between ₹1,44,200 and ₹2,18,200, while Assistant Professors can earn anywhere from ₹57,700 to ₹1,82,400. General and ex-servicemen candidates pay ₹1,600, female candidates from Haryana pay ₹800, SC/BC-A/BC-B/EWS residents of Haryana pay ₹400 and candidates with a physical disability from Haryana currently do not pay any application fee.
