OPTCL Invites Applications – The Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) has schedule its recruitment drive for the year 2025 as a search for 50 Management Trainee (Electrical) positions. The official OPTCL recruitment portal will accept applications for Management Trainee (Electrical) positions from April 11, 2025 up to May 17, 2025 at 11:59 PM IST.

The contractual position requires B.E./B.Tech degree holders in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering who achieved at least 60 percent marks (50 percent for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) from an accredited university. Candidates need to show their valid GATE 2025 Electrical Engineering exam score from the Electrical discipline while applying to the position. Candidates can belong to any age between 21 and 32 years inclusive as of March 1, 2025 based on relaxed age criteria for reserved categories.

Potential candidates become eligible after scoring well in GATE 2025 followed by a personal interview for selection. Those candidates selected for the program must complete one year of mandatory training while receiving ₹50,000 per month in stipend payments. New candidates who pass training will begin at Level EE-2 in the pay scale of ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 and receive all OPTCL allowances along with benefits according to their norms.
