SBI Circle Based Officers Recruitment 2025 – Application for the Circle Based Officer (CBO) posts in the State Bank of India (SBI) for 2025 is now open online. A total of 2,964 posts have been opened, of which 2,600 are regular and 364 are backlog positions. Applications were accepted beginning on May 9, 2025 and will continue through May 29, 2025. Those wishing to apply can use the official SBI careers portal at sbi.co.in/careers.
Those seeking the CBO position must have earned a graduation degree from a recognized university or have an equivalent diploma approved by the Central Government. A candidate should have already been an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or a Regional Rural Bank for at least two years. Applying means sitting for an online test and then attending an interview afterward. It is currently planned that the online examination will take place in July 2025.
General, OBC and EWS students are required to pay a fee of ₹750, but SC, ST and PwBD students are not charged. The salary for this post begins at ₹48,480, but other allowances are provided according to SBI guidelines. All applicants are urged to complete their applications early before the closing date to prevent any problems.

| Presently, the starting basic pay is 48,480/- in the scale of 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2- 67160-2680/7-85920 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I plus 2 advance increments (For work experience of 2 years or more in officer cadre in any Scheduled Commercial Bank/ Regional Rural Bank). The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, PF, Contributory Pension Fund i.e., NPS, LFC, Medical Facility etc. and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time. |
