SJVN Executive Trainee Recruitment 2025 – The power generation establishment Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) Limited is seeking 114 Executive Trainees to fill positions across different fields such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environment, Electronics & Communication, Human Resources, Finance, Law, Geology and Information Technology. The recruitment applications accessible online at SJVN’s official site will become available from April 28 to May 18, 2025. The recruiting process opens at the official SJVN website sjvn.nic.in for interested applicants.

Candidates must hold specific educational qualifications according to their selected fields among B.Tech/B.E, M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech, MBA/PGDM, or PG Diploma. Applicants need to undergo Computer-Based Testing and subsequent Group Discussion and Personal Interview as part of the selection process. The Computer-Based Test contains 150 multiple-choice questions which split into Professional Knowledge with 120 questions and General Aptitude with Logical Reasoning and Intelligence alongside with 30 other questions. The examination time lasts 2 hours with no penalty assigned for wrong answers.​

Selected Executive Trainee candidates receive ₹50,000 basic pay in addition to pay allowances amounting to 35% of basic pay for the one-year training period. They will move into the E2 grade pay scale of ₹50,000–3%–₹1,60,000 after finishing their training successfully. New hires at this position must execute a bond worth ₹10,00,000 while they agree to a three-year service commitment after finishing their training. Candidates who belong to the SC/ST/PwBD categories will only need to sign a ₹7,50,000 bond.​

The application fee amounts to ₹600 combined with 18% GST for General, EWS and OBC candidates but SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM candidates do not need to pay any fee.
